Corrections

If something on this site is wrong or out of date, telling us is genuinely useful, and quick.

The facts here come from regulators, banks and operators, and they change without announcement. A state extends its self-exclusion to online betting. An operator moves the account closure page. A bank adds a gambling block, or quietly drops one. We re-check, but a reader who has just been through the process in their own state knows before we do.

What is most useful to report

If you have the official page in front of you, including the link helps enormously, because every fact here has to be traceable to a primary source before it can go up.

What we do with it

We check it against the official source and fix it, and the date on that fact changes to the day we checked. We do not publish what you send, and we do not need your name.

The form is not live yet. This site was only just built, and a form that posts into nowhere is worse than no form at all. It is the next thing to go in.

Why there is no comment section

Deliberate, and explained in full in the editorial policy. In short: comment sections on recovery sites fill up with detailed descriptions of gambling, which are a cue for every other reader, and with spam and workarounds for the blocks this site exists to help people set up. A correction form tells us the same things with none of that.
